| There are various ways to use the search engine found in our stock photography gallery. If you are looking for a subject (like an image of bridge) ... You can type the word "bridge" into the search box and "click" the Go button. A series of thumbnail images will appear. You can then "click" on any thumbnail image to see a larger image with caption details and keywords. You may then "click" on any of the words in the caption or individual keywords under the image to locate more images in the file that have the same word in their caption or keyword.
If you are looking for a more specific subject (like a bridge located in Florida) ... You could enter both the words bridge and Florida in the search box and "click" to Go button. (This limits the search to only the images where both the words bridge and Florida are in their captions or keywords. When you want to find a very specific subject, choose to search by Phrase and enter Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Only the images that have the specific words "Sunshine Skyway Bridge" together in that order in the caption or keywords will appear. In most cases you will get better search results using and instead of phrase, unless you are looking for a very specific subject. Another way to search is by image category. Below the search box you will see a number of image categories listed. (Clicking on some of the categories will bring up further sub-categories). "Clicking" on these categories or subcategories will bring up a page (or pages) of thumbnail images. Likewise, you can then "click" on any of the thumbnails to see a larger image with caption details. This is a good way to use the site if you would like to see a selection of "airplane" images. You may not know exactly what you want yet ... And would like to see a number of images to review. To see more images that share the same keyword, just "click" on any keyword. |

| There is also a lightbox feature. When you find an image that you like, just "check" the lightbox button under the image. That image (or images) will be stored in your personal lightbox. Your lightbox will be stored for 90 days on our server. You can review the images in the lightbox ... Or email the lightbox to a co-worker for them to see. | |||||||
